I Think Im Lagerfeld

 After moving to Paris at age 14, he went on to create designs for such established labels as Pierre Balmain, Chloe, Valentino, and Fendi. He is best known as the creative power behind the modern revival of the house of Chanel, which he joined in 1983. Lagerfeld consistently managed to merge the spirit of the times with the chic, timeless identity established b he house's founder, Gabrielle CoCo Chanel, making Chanel one of the most coveted and influential labels in late 20th-century fashion. • Born in Hamburg in 1938, Karl Lagerfeld emigrated to Paris at the age of 14 

• He has designed costumes for La Scala opera
• In 1955, at the age of 17, Lagerfeld worked at Pierre Balmain, after winning a competition. He then worked for Jean Patou, Krizia, Charles Jourdan and Valentino
• In 1967 he joined Fendi, then Chloe the following decade, then Chanel in 1983 - returning briefly to Chloe in 1993 to replace out-going designer Martine Sitbon
• In 1984 he also launched his own name Karl Lagerfeld label which, he said, would channel "intellectual sexiness"

It's no wonder that he appears to be such a master of the fashion landscape. By 1997, Vogue crowned him the "unparalleled interpreter of the mood of the moment". Humour in his designs never deserts him whether with quilted handbag earrings, to 2007's quilted ankle bag.

In 2005 he sold his own name brands (Lagerfeld Gallery and Lagerfeld), to Tommy Hilfiger but maintained full design involvement.

In my opinion every guy should invest in a bottle of Gucci Pour Homme ll.  Its a strong enough scent to show you're masculine but also is sweet enough to where a female can snuggle up with you and not feel like she is being attacked by your cologne.  You can pick up a bottle of this at your local sephora or at saks fifth ave.

Men, dont be scared to add a little color to your outfit.  No one said that when you wear clothes you have to match from head to toe.  A little pop color can go a long way and show your own personal style.  With a nice suit or with a pair of denim step out the box and show some attention to your ankles this spring.

By far one of my favorite designers! The way the lines in his suit cuts and how the deep pinstripes bring forth a certain type of confidence in a man. Here is a little history on how he went from a small child in Austin Tx to head designer in Gucci then stepping out and creating his on brand.

• Tom Ford was born in Texas in 1962
• He studied interior architecture at Parsons School of Design until 1986
• By 1999 he had made Gucci worth $4.3 billion (£2.2). "We didn't even have a photocopier at one stage," he admits. "We didn't have any paper"
• In 2000, Ford was named Best International Designer at the first VH1/Vogue Awards in New York
• After Gucci bought a controlling stake in Yves Saint Laurent, Ford was appointed creative director and communications director of YSL's ready-to-wear business, while continuing to design for Gucci
• In April 2004, Ford parted company with the Gucci group after he and ceo Domenico de Sole, who is credited as Ford's partner in the success story that is Gucci, failed to agree with PPR bosses over creative control of the Group
• He subsequently launched his fashion empire, Tom Ford - first with menswear, beauty, eyewear, and then both men's and women's accessories
• He made his directorial debut with A Single Man in 2010, starring Colin Firth & Julianne Moore.
